I don't know about anyone else, but I often find myself looking at pictures of aviation museums (particularly those I have never visited) and wondering where on the campus it was taken.

Well, similar to the blueprints, concept art, and renderings thread, I got tired of searching for floorplans to find where everything was. So, below, I have linked as many aviation museum layout maps as I could find. I have tried to limit the entries to officially produced maps, but please feel free to add any you may have.

Hope this proves useful to someone else as well!

EDIT (24-03-10): Correct name of Canada Aviation and Space Museum.

I also came across a folder with a bunch of maps on National Museum of the United States Air Force's website. I can't find where they were linked on the website, but based on the name it seems the ones in the podcast subsection came from the Tour Podcasts page:

Also, the IWM Duxford map above was taken from a brochure created by ABG Design.

For some reason, the recent database rebuild apparently removed the last post from this thread. Luckily, it was archived, so I was able to reproduce it:

The Hickory Aviation Museum has an interesting interactive "ouija board" hosted on an outside website that, according to their Flight Line page, is updated to "show what is currently on display and what is not". At the moment, it currently looks like this:

The Musée Volant Salis has an interactive map similar to the Hickory Aviation Museum's. However, theirs has only shows the overall arrangement of hangars themselves and not the locations of individual aircraft:

Why does this not look like the Leatherneck museum is in one of the original hangars? Did something change?
