Were you able to search that site for any remaining parts?

My dad has a Barracuda prop hanging his hangar wall. It might be available if they need it for the restoration project.

Most impressive! Are you able to reveal how he acquired it?

Many years ago when my dad had a Mustang, one of his fellow Mustang owner friends would trade and barter aircraft projects. I think the guy traded a Buchon project for a Sea Fury project. The propellor was in the mix. I think they tracked it down and it only fits the Barracuda of which none are in existence. MY father removed the black synthetic covering and then varnished the beautiful wood grain underneath. It is otherwise undamaged. It's hanging on the wall and serves as an idea of just how huge the props are on four bladed WW II aircraft.

I've got a friend who's tied in with the guys trying to get a Barracuda restored to airworthy condition... can I PM you and send you his contact info? They would be very interested in discussing that prop!

Thanks,

Lynn
