During the time that Martin Aircraft was in Cleveland, was Chance Vought with the company in Cleveland too? In William Wolf's excellent book on the B-26 ("Martin B-26 Marauder: The Ultimate Look: From Drawing Board to Widow Maker Vindicated") he provided a history of the Martin Company. Vought worked for Martin, but from what was provided, I was unable to determine if Vought actually came and worked in Cleveland.
For those who were not aware, during Martin's time in Cleveland, several young engineers worked for Martin who later went on to play significant roles in aviation: Dutch Kindelberger, Lawrence Bell (Bell designed the Martin star logo), James McDonnell, Donald Douglas, and C.A. Van Dusen.
