Corsair 92050 took to the skies again for the first time in almost 50 years on Tuesday March 9th. First flight lasted approximately 30 minutes and no major issues encountered. A video of the first flight will be posted on the WHF website in the next couple of days. www.warbirdheritagefoundation.org

A stunning restoration and colour scheme, the midnight blue and red bands look simply awesome together.

I’m guessing this was a land based squadron - hence why no arrester hook?!

A tail hook might be added later if we are able to locate one along with the tail hook components.

They were well aware of the L-bird parked where it was so no run up planned between the hangars.

Congratulations to your team. Beautiful bird and love the markings. Can't wait to see it out in person.
