Several warbird museums and organizations are participating in flyovers, or in some cases just happening to put out the word about maintenance flights that coincidentally are taking place over populated areas, in honor of (or with no particular connection to) the Canadian and US national holidays this week. Many of these are being mentioned only in social media. What flights do you guys know about? Here are a few that I have seen, to start us off. I learned of these on Instagram.

Today, Canada Day, I know of the following:

CWH Lancaster to fly from Hamilton to fly over Niagara Falls and downtown Toronto.

Waterloo Warbirds T-33, MiG-15, L-29 to fly from London to Cambridge and Galt.

On July 4:

CAF has organized flyovers of several cities under its United We Fly banner, see here. In some cases the routes and participating aircraft are vague. Sentimental Journey and Maid in the Shade, which happen to be touring in Utah, have announced a specific 4th of July flight route out of St. George. https://www.azcaf.org/location/st-georg ... ap-section

Lyon Air Museum C-47 to participate in a flyover of Buena Park, Orange, and La Habra, joined by a couple of Marchetti 260s, I presume from that air combat experience company also located at John Wayne.

A P-51 is scheduled to take part in a military flyover over the North Carolina and South Carolina beaches, but I don't know which P-51.

Six DC-3/C-47s from several organizations including CAF and Palm Springs Air Museum, are to fly around Lake Tahoe fro Truckee Tahoe airport, accompanied by T-6s and/or T-28s.

There is a very comprehensive warbird "parade" scheduled for eastern WA, north-eastern OR and norther ID on the 4th. I believe it will include a B-25, one or more P-40's, one or more P-51's, Tigercat and a P-47.

For those with Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Hangar180KLWS/

For those without, here is the schedule at least:

Thanks Ryan - very nice tip! It looks as if Dottie Mae is headed up there to participate in that. She left Chino and made it as far as Lincoln, CA, yesterday afternoon. Hangar 180's social media suggests that their P-40 Suzy and other fighters will participate.

There's a 4th of July fly-in in Texas, hosted by the Texas aviation Academy (3rd annual). They have 10 BT-13's and a BT-14. New Braunfels Regional Airport (KBAZ).

CHAA sent two Harvards to Oshawa this afternoon for a 100th Birthday party for a wartime Harvard instructor.

This was our first outing of the year due to Covid-19.

Waterloo Warbirds operate from the Region of Waterloo International Airport (CYKF), not London (CYXU)
Galt is one of the four communities that make up the city of Cambridge (Galt, Preston, Hespeler & Blair)

Nice job on the Oshawa trip!

And that was an embarrassing brain fart on my part about London. I'm from SWO, have spent time in all those towns, should know better!

The P-51 scheduled to participate is the one recently purchased by Gary Peters of Lewiston, Idaho. He is the person behind Hangar 180, and as you said, already has a P-40.
His Mustang has just been finished in 352nd FG markings of Capt. John Thornell's Patty Ann II.

There will be a chance to see the aircraft in Spokane at 5:45. they'll be refueling in front of the Historic Flight Foundation hangar at Felts Field. It's not open to the public but folks can see through the fence.

Definitely some goings-on in the DC area today preparatory to a flyover of the Washington Mall tomorrow.

Fifi landed at Manassas, VA, yesterday. Yankee Lady is on her way to the same airport. At least two C-47s, N47E and N150D, also are inbound. And that is just what filed flight plans. B-25 Champaign Gal is in the air and seems to be pointed at Manassas as well.

I believe the P-51 "Sweet Revenge" from Fagen Fighters is headed there as well.

CAF Minnesota Wing single-engine aircraft will be flying two routes over the Minneapolis/St Paul area. SNJ and BT-13 will be flying one route together, while the PT-22 and L-5 will be flying a shorter route together.

FIFI just passed by here, westbound at low altitude, about 1/2 mile north of my house, on her way home from Washington. Nice to hear and see her! They should be back on the ground in Fort Worth in a few minutes' time.
