Selected personnel at the Army Air Force Service Group Training Center, Greenville, S.C., are being trained to rescue, salvage, repair and restore airplanes on the field. The soldiers are taught to operate under fire and during aerial raids by the enemy if need be. The following color photo show the manner in which planes and salvage station are camouflaged so that repair operations may be carried on unobserved by the enemy. Cover up. The disabled Douglas A-20 havoc has been covered with camouflage netting and continue without disclosing its presence to an aerial observer. Great pic, although the caption isn't quite correct..that's a B-26 Marauder, not an A-20. I can't help but think of that scene from the movie "Twister"...

Is this a "bitsa" of a couple of different types? The circular bulkhead doesn't look right for an A20, but the rest of it doesn't look right for a B26.

Are those two piece bomb bay doors? I don't believe A-20's had a landing light in the right wing leading edge.

Everything uncovered by the netting looks to be Marauder...bomb bay doors, starboard wing leading edge (minus wingtip).

As for the rest of it??
