Another requests for B-17 information, would anyone please know the current state and condition or even whereabouts of 44-85821.
I understand at one point back sometime it was for sale. Does anyone know how much survived and if it was enough to restore as a whole aeroplane
or whether it ever sold?.
I suppose putting a reason why in the question maybe a good idea.
I have a an acquaintance who has just come into a windfall via a lottery win , lucky him!, and knowing my interest in aviation asked me to put a request on his behalf if anyone knows of any STATIC condition B-17 maybe a nose section and fuselage aircraft that might be/have been or perhaps are coming up for sale?.
If anyone knows of such a prospect than any information welcome.
