Hi everyone,

Wednesday I enjoyed the very rare opportunity to view the interior of Halifax NA337. Below are some of the pictures I took.

As you can see the restoration of the aircraft is ongoing. They are still working hard to fit the internal equipment and tidy up some minor details on the aircraft's exterior.

Wow......Tks Mike.

She looks like she would be ready to take off

Impressive work done.

It's amazing to see all the details that goes beyond the aluminium structure with all the systems added.

Thanks for the m-a-n-y pictures Mike. I have never before seen the inside of a Halifax. Sharing pictures like this is one of the best parts of this web site.

I've never seen the interior before, either.

Thanks very much for posting these.

Might I ask what the purpose of the checkerboard flooring is in the one shot?

I believe the floor is checkered to make it easier for the crew to notice the floor opening when the drop hatch is open.

Thanks for having me at the Warbird Information Exchange. I am keen to see the pictures of the interior of NA337 but for some reason all the pictures are just out of focus. Now i know my eyesight is not brilliant but everything else is crystal clear. Is there something else i need to do ?
Cheers

Welcome to the forum Hangarman.
The reason you can't see the photos in this 14 year old thread, is because the hosting site "Photobucket"is holding the images hostage unless they are payed.
Most folks said "to heck with that Photobucket! Go pound sand!!!"
Unfortunately, nothing you can do on your end.

Regards

Andy

I don't think that it is a photobucket issue. I can see them perfectly clear.

Dang Mac, can you let the rest of us in on the secret handshake or what? I cannot see the photos either. And I am not going to pay for photobucket...even though I have a ton of photos on there

This is strange.

I could view the photos fine at my home PC this afternoon, now sitting at my office PC this morning they have the Photobucket blur.

6trn4brn,

Don't tell anyone, but the secret is you have to be left handed & live in the right time zone. Most of you guys live in my past.
