Hey folks!

That time of year again where we can discuss what possible restorations could fly in 2020.

Here's some from me:

-FHCAM Messerschmitt ME262.
-F4F Wildcat from ARCo in the UK.
-Spitfires MJ755, TE308, PS890 and PL983. The latter two after their unfortunate mishaps. It's probably also worth mentioning RN201 and PL344 should hopefully fly again in the UK and be quite active out of Sywell.
-Avspecs Spitfire XVI TB252.
-Fagen Fighters' SB2C Helldiver.
-CWHM Fairey Firefly and TBM Avenger.
-Aero Trader/Kermit Weeks A-26?
-Hawker Hurricane BE505 out of Hawker Restorations after her two-seat conversion.
-Possible Mustang III FB206 out of Pacific Fighters?
-Fagen Fighters F6F Hellcat.
-Collings Foundation FW-190F.
-Meier Motors Sea Fury.
-TFC Sea Fury, finally?
-Anglia Aircraft Restorations' Hawker Tempest and Messerschmitt Me109G?
-DTAM Hawker Hurricane and Grumman Bearcat.
-VWoC Hawker Hurricane XII.

Mustang FB206 is a couple of years away from completion judging by the progress updates on the Pacific Fighters social media accounts.

In terms of UK/European projects i can think of (that haven't already been mentioned):

TFC's CR42
TFC's Gloster Gladiator (Return to flight)
Kennet Aviation's Seafire XVII (Return to flight)
Kennet Aviation's Skyraider (Return to flight)
Robs Lamplough/Meier Motors ME109E1
Messerschmitt Foundation's BF109 G10 (Return to flight)
Hangar 11 Spitfire IX PT879
Vormezeele Collection's Hispano HA-1112-M1L Buchon
Meier Motors Sea Fury T.20
White Waltham Fairey Swordfish III
Historic Helicopters Sea King
Dutch Fokker D.21 Replica

Hoping that we will get the Yanks Hellcat or P-63! No idea of a timeline but they both are progressing nicely.

Every year I say it and every year I'll keep saying it until either I drop dead or it flies.

Hopefully the second option! I too have been hoping for the P-59 for years. Can't explain it but I have soft spot for it after seeing it at Chino decades ago.

Any news on the Tony for Yagen/MAM?

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=71009

I just saw the latest formations list for the Arsenal of Democracy VE Day Flyover in DC and Virginia and Columbine II is listed as a C-69 stand in with the C-54, C-47, etc. Hopefully it will be ready to fly within 4 months.

Any updates on the CAF P-47N (45-53436 N47TB)? I do not look for it in 2020, but there is always hope.

It's safely at Ardmore in New Zealand but I don't believe it's currently being worked on.
