I really liked that plane as a kid. 8)

There were many red Mustangs with the body stripe in white, black, gold, ect., but the blue stood out in the crowd.

Cool photo. But not shot in 1980 though. By 1977 Wright had relocated the race # to the tail.

Chino-AeroSport 1969...preparing for export to Phillipines for new owner Billionaire Enrique Zobel.

James Froude flew it to the P. I... In 1971 John Wright flew it back.

Raced at Mojave 1974...Reno 1973-77 and 1979.
