Folks-

Today around 1:00, I saw this OH-6 travelling through Arvada, Colorado. Anyone have the skinny on where she's headed, or what she's doing here? Having grown up in Arvada and working there for the past 11 years, this was a little out of place!

Pretty flimsy trailer. I can't imagine it being used on the freeway with loads like that.
I suspect it's a display airframe used for parades or pr.

Looks to be done in the paint scheme of Hugh Mills "Miss Claude IV"?

I agree, looks like it's painted as Hugh Mills' OH-6 Miss Clawd IV. I'm guessing that's a recreation. If you're not aware of it, the original Miss Clawd IV serial number #17340 still exist and is on display at the U.S. Army Aviation Museum in Fort Rucker, Alabama. #17340 is painted as it was when Mills flew it in Vietnam. Mills wrote a really good book back in the 1990's about being a scout pilot in OH-6's during Vietnam. The book is called Low Level Hell.
