They've been ground running the Iraqi Fury at FAST Aero in Belgium again. Whether that means it is nearing a first flight or not, though, is another story, as it was run about 4 years ago then the engine came out again.

I'm pretty sure their FW 190 is fitted with a R2800, as I think Frasca's Fw190 is.

When my Dad got me first issue of Classic Wings Downunder in 1998 that Fury was in there, part of advertising for Panama Jack's and I was excited to see it fly. Still am!

Sounds like DC-7B N4887C will be attempting flight sometime today (7/16).

Not quite sure how the Delta Flight Museum plans on covering this. Anybody close to Coolidge Municipal?

Hornet Moth in Smith's Falls, ON, summer.

P-40 with new engine at VWoC, late summer.

Hurricane XII first flight after restoration, at VWoC, this fall.
