Spitfire Air Display Helmet-Cam video, and DH Vampire

I've found that learning to edit a video can be a VERY slow process. But here's what I came up with.
This was shot at St. Thomas last June. I was not allowed to do aerobatics -- the aircraft was new out of the restoration shop and there hadn't been time for my accreditation -- so I had to come up with a non-aero display that still showcased the aeroplane.
It is huge fun to do this in a Spitfire. I am spoiled forever.

The Spitfire, although I have a tendency to love whatever I'm flying. It does everything well, with a quality of elegant eagerness. It's a precise aircraft, with no bad manners. It's like the perfect Thoroughbred horse, or a Herreshof sailboat, or a Chestnut Prospector in glassy water.

Excellent video, Dave -- thanks for going to the trouble, you have allowed me to ride along in a Spit! Love your editing, the interspersed ground shots really make it pop.

Michel, earlier this year Dave clued us that the Spitfire cockpit fresh air vent blows cross the cockpit...hence his custom PVC elbow directulator mod aiming it where it's most appreciated. Thanks again Dave for sharing...top shelf Sir!

Thank you Dave, I loved the whole display it was almost like I was flying the plane, in fact how did you get into my cockpit. Thanks again and a merry Christmas and a Happy and safe New Year.

30 seconds into your video I knew I had to stop, copy the link and stream the video later this evening to my big screen TV, it is that good, thank-you.
What is more important is that this video will be around many years later on the web when some one does a google search on flying the Spitfire and the link pops up.
