I was in my late teens, when I saw the series. The music, haunting and at the same time, beautifully sad. Lots of aircraft footage there.

I knew this was the World at War series music before I opened your link. Same applied to me as a kid. Very powerful series narrated by Sir Laurence Olivier. None better IMO and should be seen by ALL students at some point in their educations.

I must say that that was one of those TV series, that I never saw when I was living down South.
