Today was a great day for our C-97 program. Two training flights and all is well. Things are really starting to come together.

All this is happening due to your support!

Phase II is coming along nicely, the intercom system is installed, the rare rear ballast tanks were sourced and installed, eliminating the need for the barrels in the rear. Airplane maintenance issues that were identified during the initial flight out of NY last year have been addressed, and we now have three additional flights under our belt!

All of this is a result of the great patriots who stepped up and helped us with a contribution, both big and small. We now have 19 Angels and 4 Tiger team members who made a commitment to making the C-97 program a success!

Remember, likes and thumbs up are nice, but showing your support by making even a small contribution go much further to keeping this rare Boeing airworthy. Keep in mind, as we approach the end of the 2018 tax year, the Berlin Airlift Historical Foundation is a 501 c3 tax exempt charity, so all contributions are tax deductible.

In addition, we have t-shirts and other items available to show off your enthusiasm for our projects through our Teespring store accessible through our website at www.spiritoffreedom.org.

Go to our website at www.spiritoffreedom.org and click on National Support Group to see how you can help. Additionally, we have set up a GoFundMe at https://www.gofundme.com/a54hv6-c97-quo ... ot-phase-2 to provide another way to help. We’re still a long way from our fundraising goals, so please share this as well!

Be A Part Of Something BIG!

Awesome! So glad to see the C-97 flying! So has there been any talk involving the former Fairchild plant yet at Haggerstown? What a location it would be!
