On page 5, rare shots of C-46s in the ETO.
Also, it looks like an L-3B...that photo may have been taken the states as it was apparently wrecked in Nebraska...but it could have been rebuilt and sent overseas.

Any thoughts on the late B-24 without nose turret? A makeshift transport?

Finally, what's the collector's rank. In grain by it says Flight Officer, ...And in the photos there are shots of someone wearing something that looks like Lt. Bars but with paint.

They might want to doublecheck their spelling - it's Gwartney, not Gwantrey.
Interesting shots of Ford CG-13 43-43885. Are there any surviving bits and pieces from this type?
