Of course the two pitot tubes also help to ensure proper airspeed.

Good-looking decoy!

Wait...it's supposed to be a decoy, right?

Airspeed is critical when landing on a moving vehicle so redundancy is very important. Chances of knocking one or the other off is pretty high!

Looks like they unearthed the old wooden mock-ups from "Flying Leathernecks" and put on some fresh paint.

So I have to ask, is Bruce Willis supposed to be Gen. Chennault ?

Thanks,
Phil

Bruce Willis is always, and only, Bruce Willis. Scriptwriters shouldn't even bother trying to give his character any other name.

Judging from the trailer, I think it's possible they were shot with the same script....

The fit of Bruce Willis' uniform coat at 0:43 is horrible. It's at least one size too big, the sleeves are way too long and the lapels meet much too high. What kind of army are they running here?!

The final line of the trailer, “In select theatres and on demand,” kind of says it all.

Note the off-angled exhaust stacks - Must have been a field mod specific to the CBI.

"You have a life expectancy of 5 days...its bad."

Yes, it appears to be just that.

I think that quote is reference to actually watching the film.

Seems like War Movies have gone backwards since Band of Brothers, Saving Private Ryan!

I guess that they must be too expensive or possibly the Producers don't think that there is a market anymore?

Sometimes the trailers don't tell you correctly what the movie will be like. I really hope that's the case here, because it looks horrible.
Willis must have been hard up for money or his agent is a total idiot (which in all fairness is possible as agents sometimes sign their talent for stuff they never would have agreed to normally on their own).

Or how long the movie will be in theaters.

I get the strong impression this movie is intended to be a blockbuster in a country of over a billion people. Willis and Brody are probably banking on making a huge chunk of change off of that before others clue in and dilute the market.

This movie was never, ever intended to be the greatest thing anyone here has seen.
