I assume it's fairly original and with no major damage history (at least in the last 50+ years in Lacy's ownership).

Comparing the price for Mustangs then (WIX poster Stephan Wilkinson, then an editor of
Flying magazine, did a pilot report on a Cavalier Mustang in the February 1969 issue, it had a basic price of $76,000 for a zero-timed airframe and rebuilt engine) and the reported $2 million price mentioned above, it would seem long term Mustang ownership is a good investment.
So, a guess of about $50,000 in 1964 to $2 million today...not bad, but I'm sure some homes in Southern California have done the same.
