"...And what's the deal with airline food?"
So. Came from a boneyard in Nevada, single pane windscreens with a windsplit added... Anyone have an ID on this fuselage?

It polished up nicely.

I don't know about the gourmet offerings, I'd expect an AA DC-3 to offer (Ernie) Gannburgers, an AM-21 special, and DST shakes.

Hi Phil65,
Thanks for posting, although a more descriptive title wouldn't have done any harm.
My first thought was that this actually was a redevelopment of the 'space shuttle' C-47/DC-3 food truck that used to be based in Southern California. But here's a very recent article mentioning that that is now based in New York, and (again) available for sale: https://www.nytimes.com/2018/06/28/nyre ... -cafe.html.
So there's 2 of these now, and I still have to catch both of them. The one at Compton should now be the easier one to find.
Roger
