Celebrating the Centenary of the RAF

Tue Jul 10, 2018 12:53 pm

These are from the British Daily Mail and its mostly just gossip about the Royals and their fashion choices to watch the display.
But here are the really cool photo's of the event. 8) 8)
*I rearranged the order of the pictures for a better continuity

Some 100 jets, helicopters and aeroplanes roared over central London, much to the delight of the thousands who gathered to watch the spectacle from below. Police estimate between 65,000 and 70,000 people lined the streets.

I was in London in May and heard of this event being prepared, at the time. Such a shame I couldn't be there when they did it.

I have no idea why this photo was included as it's got nothing to do with the 100th Anniversary flypast, as this was clearly taken back in 2015 during the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain, as this special Typhoon WW2 paint scheme was done for that display season only......and instead failed to show a photo of the special 22 x Typhoon's in '100' formation that was part of the flypast over London
