I ran across a video on You Tube not sure how old the video is. Anyway it showed a Bird Cage Corsair under restoration at Vultures Row owned by Chuck Wahl. This is a surprise to me personally. I knew about the Bird Cage Corsair under restoration at Ezell Aviation, but didn't know about this one.
Anyone in WIx Land know anymore about the one at Vultures Row how far along it might be etc? Also last I knew the one at Ezell Aviation is it going to make Oshkosh 2018 or not? Thanks for any information on both Corsairs very interesting.

Ed, the one at Ezell (the Brewster) isn't a birdcage variant. It has the later canopy with extra bracing, same as used on the F4U-1A. It should be flying very soon and I think Oshkosh is probably likely - it sounds like the owner will have some of his Warbird there this year. Vulture's Row has a Facebook page with a number of progress reports on the Birdcage Corsair (they also have a some other Corsair projects underway): https://www.facebook.com/vulturesrowaviation/

Here are a couple photos from Ezell taken a few weeks ago, both including the Brewster Corsair (trainer/State-side markings, "L69"):

Vulture's Row has a combat veteran birdcage Corsair being restored. It flew with the Swashbucklers and the the Black Sheep when it was written off and pushed into the woods. http://www.vulturesrowaviation.com/vra/Welcome.html
