I search the local auctions for items to hang in my garage. (This is my garage.)

I just saw this auction listing in western Michigan that list some interesting items, “Vintage Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Parts; Turbine Blades; Asst. Parts; Thousands (of) Aircraft Indicators, Lights, Knobs, Dials, Meters, Control Switches & Gauges also Used For Automotive Ratrod & Gasser Bobby Cars; Aircraft Gun Sights.. Large Aircraft Cameras; Reconnaissance Cameras & Optics Sights; WWII Field Desks; 1960s Military Cameras”

It’s a 3 hour trip for me. So I may not make it, but I thought one of you may be interested. You can click on the "View photo gallery" link to see a few pictures of the aircraft stuff.

Best wishes, goaly.

I wonder if the two cowling pieces with the art work are legit? The one on the left looks like "Sheep Dog" and the one on the right looks like "Donnie Boy". The WIX nose art folks might be able to place them. I also see in the rafters some other polished panels, I see a wing tip cap and a rudder. The two long pieces kinda look like some type of aircraft skis or floats???

I should have been more clear in my description!...
The photo is of my garage. I really should have labeled it as such. The cowls are from a DC3 and my daughter painted the nose art, “The Sheepdog” is an original piece, “Donnie Boy” is a historical piece, based on Don Gentile’s P-47. The two long pieces are stacks of wood airplane wing ribs.

I am very sorry about that!

I am thinking that one of these big cameras would look good in the rafters.

There seems to be a few gunsight looking items. Any idea what aircraft these would be from?

Good thing I am not closer, I could see myself spending a lot of money at this auction!
