Apparently, during WWII they made prescription lens inserts for AN-6530 goggles:

Anyone come across a set of these or have any ideas how to make prescription lens inserts for AN-6530 goggles?

I would call an optical shop and ask if they, or someone they know of, does the work. If it's flat glass like my goggles, I can't imagine it would be difficult to do.

You might be surprised to learn they make prescription inserts for various needs ( skiing, diving, etc).

You might look into NBC mask inserts for the military, as those lenses are shaped somewhat close to that goggle style.
As a member of the 'never could be a pilot because I'm blind as a bat' club, I am also curious about something like that, even though I don't own a pair of those goggles...
