Annual airshow is the first weekend of May.

It's looking to be a P-47 and P-38 gathering this year. Already, 'Dottie Mae' is due to fly at the show and P-38's 'Thoughts of Midnite' and 'Marge' are currently at Chino with '23 Skidoo' and they are due to fly at the show also. Lewis Air Legends are also supporting the show along with SoCal CAF who are sending the Spitfire XIV, Zero and Hellcat.

Looking good! :supz:

That is very good news, looking forward to the show.

I think Snafu will probably come too if she's fixed, a reason that Friedkin has 3 planes there already is so he doesn't have to get them all there for the show the week of I imagine... and POF takes care of them for him

Lewis has Glacier Girl and Balls Out

Erickson has Tangerine and Hairless Joe (They sent the -7 and Dauntless last year)

Tennessee has sent their Thunderbolt's before

Colorado springs has their P-47 (which came for the last gathering correct?) and White 33, POF supports them and their show pretty well I believe

POF's Bearcat will be done

Any other speculations?! Can't wait!!!

I hope your right about "Snafu"... PoF pilot Chris Fahey had wrote on one of the Facebook pages that it didn't look like it would make it after the engine failure... At this point they were hoping for 3 - PoF's, Dottie Mae & the one from Colorado...

Dan Friedkin's P-40M and Spitfire IX are also at Chino I believe as well as the 'JC' F7F Tigercat!

Yep exactly, lots of "guests" there already! That full polish TF-51 was there too, I'm not sure if that's the one that Airmotive just finished? Not sure if it's still there either. And I'm hoping the P-40 that was at their event will be there too. There could be 4-5 P-40's if Warhawk brings theirs too :P

'Dottie Mae' has been confirmed to fly in the show.

Anyone heard anymore rumours about any warbirds attending?

Has the PoF airplane been confirmed to be finished? Last I heard they were still doing some work in the cockpit and waiting on canopy glass.

Schedule has been posted on the PoF airshow Facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/PlanesofFameAi ... =3&theater

Includes the P-38's and P-47's kicking the show off, A-10 and Heritage Flight closing the show, PB4Y, Spitfires, Voodoo and Strega. Anyone know which A-26 is due to go?

Am I the only one thinking that this might be a larger gathering of P-40s than 2016 and they aren't even the main attraction?!

Four on site so far and it's still a week out... :supz:

Since we're talking about POF, any word on when the P-59 is going to take to the skies again?

Yanks is promoting it as they are participating in "The Chino Airshow".

How generous, free admission to the airshow for only $99.... wait, what?
