Great shots as always Will, keep 'em comin'! Really looking forward to seeing what additional work will be done to the PoF P-47G now that the cockpit has been returned to a much more original condition. And REALLY looking forward to the new paint job as well.

Great work, guys. I missed this thread the first time around (was off the grid, fishing in Ontario). Thanks for posting!

Out for a Sunday drive... I think I'd likely do the same thing if I were in it.

Fun to see I'm not the only one who got a kick out of that. I've had the distinct pleasure of trying a few warbirds on for size (although, sadly, I have yet to be handed the keys for a quick run around the block), and the P-39 comes extremely close to being the most perfect fit for me. Practically tailor-made, I love that cockpit!

But ... hard to beat that Spit, what can I say?

It was HOT out on the Chino tarmac this year, as it is almost every year. I can't imagine how uncomfortable it must have been under some of those bubble canopies with all that flight gear on.
