Canada has a great history in military aviation, warbirds and aviation in general. Why are there no podcasts covering Canada's military aviation history, current military aviation, warbirds, veterans and pioneers, etc?

I'd love to hear podcasts with interviews with Canadian WWII RCAF veterans, or some of the warbirds collectors and museum people, restorers, historians, authors, etc., and even people in other areas of aviation such as the Beaver and Otter pilots who fly the lakes, or people manufacturing aircraft, commercial pilots and engineers, etc.

An equivalent of my own Wings Over New Zealand Show from Canada would be great, and surely easily doable as there's so much potential.

I found one show called Clear En Route which made seven episodes and then podfaded years ago.

Is there no demand for it in Canada? What do the Canadian members here think? And others too.

Thanks Mark, it is audio interviews with people's stories and shows about events I am meaning, rather than photos of planes though.

I agree, we should have more podcasts. WIXcast has exactly one episode but time constraints prevented it from continuing. I do want to continue it at some point but working two jobs prevents that at the moment. Maybe one day when Paul Allen becomes patron for the site

I cant speak much for the Canadian side of aviation podcasts, but Myself and a few other airshow/warbird folks are starting a podcast this year. Our goal is to make a new episode every week or at every show we fly at this year. Lofty goal I know but we will sure try.

Great stuff, I never knew you had made a podcast Scott (Rose), I'll definitely have a listen.

And that sounds like a great plan Scott (Yoak), I'm really looking forward to that too, I always enjoy hearing you on Warbird Radio with Matt Jolley.

Yes that is true CAPFlyer, but there is surely also scope for a stand alone Canadian aviation podcast.

You'd think so between the rich aerial history of the Canucks and the guaranteed "cabin time" in the winter you'd have a captivated audience.

Scott, when did you record and release this Wixcast? It's really excellent and I want to hear more!
