Martin B-26G-11-MA Marauder 43-34584 (Lend-Lease to French AF Sep 1944) ... which would end up being converted by Dassault as a testbed for the SNECMA ATAR 101 jet engine, registered F-WBXM, and which first flew on Oct 9, 1950. Re-registered F-ZVLA, WFU May 14, 1958 per J Bougher.

The think I find weird is the grafting it onto the fuselage. Most test beds I've seen use a podded engine.
Is this for intake work?
Is the engine accessible from inside the fuselage?

The intakes look like T-33 or F-94 units....or what would happen if a B-26 landed on a Lockheed.

I thought the same thing Scott.

If they added an afterburner it might add at least 5 knots to the old girl's top speed. Maybe?
