Canberra does look good... Nice to see one of NASA's WB-57s orbiting the area west of KSC when they launched Artemis last week.

Certainly Canberras have flown on the UK civil register, and not that long ago.

Following the knee-jerk reaction to the Shoreham crash, I don't know what the CAA position would be now.

IIRC, even before Shoreham, the CAA was preventing some warbirds from flying in the UK...the Lightning and Shackleton come to mind...and perhaps others (Gannet?).
I think it had to do with being non-certified or not being supported by their builders...so basically a paperwork exercise.

There is a group called Canberra USA that is restoring a B-57 to flight status. The most recent post on facebook was them doing gear retractions. IT will be a really cool effort and I wish them the best!

The only Canberra USA I can find is restoring B.6 XH567 - do you have a link to the B-57 group?

Nope - that's the one - I realize now though that its a English bird and not a Glenn Martin Co. plane. They sure are cousins though. . .
