That Lockheed Orion is sooooooooooo cool in the Swiss museum!!! If there was one airplane there that I could bring back to the States, that one would be it. Former Jimmy Doolittle machine if I remember correctly. Only surviving Orion (which was the type that Wiley Post and Will Rogers were killed in.) And for this Tulsa boy, it was periodically maintained in the 1940's and 1950's in Tulsa at Spartan. So neat. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Aerovet, thats great!

To all, slight change in the request. Previously there was no requirement/request for vintage civil aircraft. However, I have started to collect images and information of Vintage aircraft for a future Vintage Aviation Registry site. Currently there is a group on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/140378319957825/ but eventually there will be an actual site.

You can add pictures to the facebook page, the new VAR Forum or sent them to the address below.
