The NWM at Geneseo sent their Beech Staggerwing off to be restored to its original, as-delivered British Fleet Air Arm configuration a couple of years back. Maybe it will be done this year? But they'll have to call it a 'Traveller Mk 1' when it's finished.

Fighter Rebuilders Bearcat in Chino looks to be nearly done. Perhaps flying by the airshow in May?

That is awesome news, John. I wasn't aware of that one!

Catching up here.

I'm quoting this because it should be in this page as well.

I never thought I'd call woodwork "hot" but this prop....it's hot.

Bare metal for the moment. Don't know what the plan is.

After seeing the pics of that P-12 on Platinum Fighters, all I can say is... anybody got 380K I can use? I promise it'll go to a good cause!

Can't wait to see which one Jerry has coming to the MAM!

One of the new P-12s is owned by an acquaintance here in eastern Washington. He's been waiting for it for several years. The gentleman currently has two round tail Stearmans and a Speedmail (among others) and formerly owned a couple of T-6s, so he's well qualified to fly it.

That may account for the unknown one John mentioned.

Anyone heard anything about Hangar 11's Spitfire Mk IX PT879? Could be seeing more progress with the sale of their P-40?

James Bradley from the CWH posts Avenger updates at this Instagram. Its strictly airplane updates so I hope he wouldn't mind the link being posted.

Now Peter has sold the Hurricane as well the plan is to start work on rebuilding the wings of PT879.

Down the road a piece, RARE Aircraft completes another gorgeous UPF-7. Just waiting for first flight. This one's heading for Brazil.

F8F-2 Bearcat BuNo. 121707 is looking more complete at Fighter Rebuilders at Chino with the engine now installed. Anyone know who owns this now?
