Work has now started on my ex SAAF Canadair Sabre CL13B/F 86E.
This is a static restoration only.
Getting a clean up first and documented as to its known history to date.
Also recording missing parts and damage while in other hands, rear fuselage section needs a bit of attention.
I would like to hear from anyone as to a source for a Canadair manual.
Thanks,
Wayne

New one for the Registry. I'll see about adding it soon.

Ex. Ardmore, New Zealand before Oz.
Saved at the 11th hr from scrapping, but the tail did not fare so well.

Looking as she did.
Good luck with the restoration.

That's the one, thanks Martin. Lost the tail surfaces to the scrappy as well as gun door panels and radio comp cover.
Took the canopy off today as well as removing the ejector seat. No loose Kugerrands under the seat.
Checked out the wheel wells and doors underneath and looks ok with only minor damage here and there.
Starting to build a cradle for the front section so I can lower the nose wheel.
Wayne.
