The Saturday schedule had the F-100 listed to fly with the F-4, A-4, and a surprise (Mig 15 I think). But, the F-100 was a no show. Anyone know if it was a maintenance issue or something else?

Other than that, seemed like there was a lot of down time, i.e. no flying. Too much ground stuff.

This airshow has changed drastically since the good old days of the 90's/2000's. No more coolers allowed. No loose ice??? Admission price has doubled since I last purchased a ticket at the gate (granted, it's been a while). Less parking spaces. Fewer big iron military aircraft. I keep hearing and/or reading 9/11, homeland security, etc for the reasons behind these changes. Whatever the reasons, I'm glad to see it is still well attended.

One thing that hasn't changed in 30 years..... someone always has a "stuck" mic. Every year the airboss gets on someone's *ss about it.

I'll still go watch vintage aircraft take to the skies as long as we have a show. I'm thankful for that.

I hope someone posts a picture or two. This should be a major airshow nearly in my back yard, and here I am on the other side of the state (and Texas is a pretty big state).

The F-100 flew Sunday. Randy Ball flew his Mig with the Vietnam portion of the show.
Due to the weather, Sunday’s show was very “compacted”.
I’ll be posting pictures within a week.
