Have there been any talks with the Air Force to resume the bomber flyby's? I really miss the B-1, B-2 and B-52's.

Looking like a great show coming.

The Friday Taxiway Photography and the Saturday Night Engine Run for this year's Thunder Over Michigan Air Show are sold out! The only slots available are the Saturday Photo Tour/Pit and the Sunday Photo Tour/Pit packages and these are limited in numbers.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

If I, or anyone else has mentioned this, I apologise for repeating, but if it is flying in time (its supposed to he at oshkosh so it should be) please, please, please try to get the XP-82!! That would be the No.1 warbird on my list at this point. That or Lewis’ A-20, but thats not gonna happen.

XP-82!!!!!!!

If the plan is to have three B-17s, we still have one official announcement of a B-17 yet to come. My guess is TOM still has a couple aircraft they're still working on or have yet to announce yet. It seems like we usually get 3-4 more aircraft announced in the last month or two leading up to the show.

As it stands, the lineup looks pretty good. I'm especially looking forward to seeing a P-47 in the air again.

Less than 20 Photo Tour/Pit passes remain for the Saturday show. Only 35 are available for Sunday. Expect these will be all sold out in the next two weeks. Do you have yours? Info at; yankeeairmuseum.org/airshow Yankee

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.

Outstanding. I've never seen the CAF Dauntless (I hope it's not static!). I'm making the trip up with my 7 year old and my normal stop at the Air Zoo, it will be her first airshow. Can't wait!

For one segment of the air show, I sense a Naval flight at this years Thunder, what with a Corsair, Helldiver, Wildcat, Dauntless and 3 Avengers.

Cheers,

Tom Walsh.
