Note if it had gone badly at touchdown, the fire engines seen would have been much closer to the likely stop point in those circumstances.

From memory, the gear lever was jammed, and couldn't be moved in flight. However once lifted up, the gear was lowered and it was towed off for (still ongoing) repair.
