I am trying to find out when and whom will be scrapping the C133A "2009" at Chanute Museum site. I flew as a loadmaster on this particular aircraft when I was stationed at Dover AFB, Del in 1959 to 1965. My purpose is to obtain a small piece of the aircraft as a remembrance. I hate to see the old girl just disappear.

Let me know if you ever get any info. A fellow volunteer was a crew chief on the C-47 there and would love a small piece of it.

I know several people in the Travis AFB California area who would like a piece of that plane.
Buy the whole thing and piece it out to get your money back.
Where else can you get a real piece of a C-133?
