I've also updated the A-26 list to reflect "Sugarland Express" now being based in Germany with its new owner.

As far as I know, the A-26 is still in Norway, a delivery flight is said to performed sometime within the month.

Yeah, it's getting prepped for the journey to Germany, to be flown by Lars Ness, from what I read. I don't recall there being mention as of yet where specifically it will be based.

B-25J Mitchell 44-86797 (N25JZ) 'Sweet Dreams', owned by Justin Zabel, has been added to the list. This is the same B-25 that used to fly as 'Ol Grey Mare' when owned by Wiley Sanders. The aircraft was restored by ATW Aviation and it participated over the weekend in the Central Coast AirFest in Santa Maria, CA. Earlier this year, after about a year's worth of work by ATW Aviation, it was ferried to the company's home in Marana, AZ (the first time the aircraft had flown in 15 years), and the remainder of the work was carried out at Marana over the summer months. A couple photos of the aircraft can be seen here: https://www.noozhawk.com/central-coast- ... a-airport/

And a Britt Dietz photo here, of the aircraft performing in the airshow over the weekend: https://scontent.ffcm1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/ ... e=6530CB17

Justin Zabel is also the owner of the P-51D "Bardahl Special", TBM Avenger BuNo.85794, and the ex-Doug Matthews F-86 Sabre "Skyblazers" 52-4959.

There is soon to be 40+ flyable B-25s, with the Hearst family's B-25C (ex-Howard Hughes) in advanced restoration at Aero Trader, a very close to completion B-25J restoration in Argentina (44-31173), and a few more long-term to-airworthy restorations in the US.

There's a great video of the flight by Scott Slocum here.

Thanks John, great work as always. As I'm sure you know, Mustang NZ2423 is well on track for public debut at Wanaka Easter 2024. And it has been announced that FG-1D Corsair NZ5648 is being worked on to return to the air in NZ this year.

P-51D Mustang NZ2423 ZK-BHT first flight today 11/11/23.

And FG-1D Corsair NZ5648 ZK-COR made a short ferry flight to Omaka today. My fingers are crossed for Wings Over Wairarapa Nov 24th.

After some intense remedial work and a paint scheme adjustment ZK-COR flew again on November 20 and has made about four flights since, so is active once more and - weather permitting - will be at Wings Over Wairarapa.

I'll pass on your kind words to the owner next time I see her! She last wore representative RNZAF markings for a short time in 2004 and these are much nicer - Kiwi enthusiasts are very excited to have her back!

I spent some time today removing quite a number of aircraft from the flying lists:

I have removed the Collings Foundation's B-25, which is destined for museum display when ready (their B-24 has already been off the list, but it too is destined for museum display), as well as the Collings P-40B and Hellcat, which have been on indefinite static museum display (they would have to be trucked out of the museum location to ever fly again). I haven't removed any of the other Collings-related warbirds, yet.

I have removed all of the Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum warbirds, all of which have not flown since at least 2019. Earlier this year, I thought there might be a chance a few of them would have returned to flight by now, but that didn't happen (some have had engine runs this year).

I have also removed Kermit Weeks' P-51C, P-51D and TP-40N, as they appear to have not been flown in at least a few years now.

Furthermore, some recent international sales and trades which have been noted, but aren't yet reflected in the lists:

- The German-based flying collection, Tina Fly, has acquired the Dan Friedkin/Comanche Fighters FM-2 Wildcat BuNo.74560 N29FG in an apparent trade, with Tina Fly's Douglas A-26 Invader N500MR going to Dan Friedkin/Comanche Fighters.

- The UK-based TF-51D 'Contrary Mary' has been sold to a new owner in the United States.

- The currently UK-based airworthy Hawker Hurricane Mk.XIII s/n 5481 has been acquired by the Collings Foundation. Following a repaint into the Eagle Sqdn. markings of William Dunn's aircraft, it will be placed on indefinite static display at their American Heritage Museum.

Just saw a Turbine DC3 listed for sale N560PT, doesn't seem to be included on this list of fliers.

Looks like Basler BT67 was transferred to Canada under C-FDXQ and is now registered so you can delete the USA Register N131PR

Thank you, Mick, for these updates for the DC-3 flyers! I believe I now have it all updated.
