Picked up another Yoke Cap.

This one is from a B-52.

Condition isn't that great, but it is original.

In my Air Force career, I don't think I ever saw a B-52 or KC-135 with a yoke cap!

What years did you serve?

I'd imagine the original caps were the first to go "missing" over their service life. Most B-52 cockpit pictures today either are missing them or have modern production caps installed.

I was in 1981-2001.
Served with two SAC units, the 416th at Griffiss and Fairchild, actually I was at a tenant unit there but worked with the 92nd on several occasions and did a low level in 52G 57-6477.
I did several flights in 135As and Rs, and as I said, I don't recall seeing a horn button on them.

Nice to see some are out there!
