DPAA coordinated a project to recover remains of the 3 missing crewmen from the wreck of the Tulsamerican in the Adriatic Sea off Croatia. The article is a little weak on details of the mission but here is a link.

Look for a PBS Documentary on the "Tulsamerican" sometime late this fall or next spring.
I've been assisting a friend since last December who is a producer for the production company that is currently working on it.
They produced the PBS Special on the USS Oklahoma last year.

I know it's only one digit off for somebody writing an article with no knowledge, but it would be nice if they could identify the aircraft type correctly.
