A very overlooked airshow,( don't know why,) is the Westfield airshow in August. Anybody going? A pretty amazing line up of static and performing aircraft this year.

I'm thinking of going, but wasn't that impressed with the lineup and thought the Northeast Pennsylvania airshow looks slightly more interesting (F-22, MiG-17, Tucano). Have you heard of Westfield acts not shown on the web site, esp warbirds? There are 2 days in a weekend so I might get to both.

August

They are extremely slow with updating their line up. I've been going since I was a kid and usually things show up without them being posted. I think a couple years ago a b-52 and and b-1 were there and I had no idea. I went to Quonset this year and was shocked to see a couple apaches, so awesome

Financial issues. Figured feeding my kids was more important :D
Hotels double there prices for that weekend. Two nights were in the $500 range

The corsair has been pulled from the line up for the Westfield airshow. The only warbirds attending are the p-40,b-25,p-51,2 c-47s and the avenger,( which will be static.)

According to lt. Col. Eric armentrout-"“People do turn out, they come out to see these historical planes fly,” Armentrout said. “So we built a line-up that is very, very heavy with these war birds.”

He must be talking about another Westfield,ma airshow in August?

Well, also 6x T-28.

I am waiting for the first show with our new NY-based Spitfire Mk.I. Wherever that one is, I'm there.

August
