It's a non-flyable F-4 at Alamagordo, NM and the "winner" is responsible for paying to move it.

And all you have to do is buy a couple of hundred bucks worth of t-shirts and other junk to be considered to win!

And it has it's wingspar cut. If you look closely you can see a large white box underneath the aircraft supporting it. It would fall apart without the box!

No, fraid not. This aircraft was pieced together from a thoroughly gutted cut airframe. It is actually wearing main tires that were flown on 749. The original tires were maypops of the first order.

As stated previously this jet became the poster child for why all fighter airframes must now be reduced to pieces 1" sqare.

Not necessarily true.

64-0747 made it out less than 6 months ago. Cut up a little but more or less intact.

Also not to mention a AFRES F-16 and B-47 Fuselage made it out intact. And 2 or 3 RF-84Ks made it out mostly intact (little beat up)

The only reason those got away was that they were a local dispersal. The guy who had the contract on the F-4s had a machine breakdown and the local guys said get it out of here. That won't happen in Tucson.
