I think Frenesi has already arrived over there in a box.

Wonderful pix Thomas_Mac, thanks! Regarding the second image, JT's recent dissertation on P-51 canopies enables me to understand the odd reflections in the bubble. I love knowing such details, particularly in a/c I don't get to be around much if at all (by some strange quirk of fate I've spent much more time around A-20 than P-51!). The Berlin Express photo is especially nice, as in, OMG. 8)

An escort! That's nice! It's also a bit historic -- fighters were often led by a bomber with a navigator across the Atlantic during WW II.

I recently flew the Mustang to the Bagotville airshow and back. It's all Bush up there. Zero place to go if the engine quits (although I did follow the road).

Kinda makes you think... and watch the engine gauges...

And around the Pacific - including RNZAF Hudsons leading US fighters.

Seen reports that Berlin Express lost its canopy during its display at Flying Legends today. Shattered on its first pass apparently, with some minor damage to the tail from broken bits of perspex...a/c and pilot are safe on the ground.
All that way.......and

Tom, mind if I snag this image for the entry for Berlin Express? If it's okay PM me how you want the credit to read.
thanks for the consideration.
