Anyone have, or know of someone with a copy of AN-E-3? I need to mix some paint for some of the Fairchild parts and I'd rather not have to cull thru the parts pile to find something with the correct color and drag it down to a photo-spectrometer to get a color breakdown.

Thanks Taigh. You wouldn't happen to have a set of the color tiles that are the references for the standard would you? I'm looking for the Bronze-Green, tile #9.

Holy smokes Taigh... Would you by chance have a high grade paint supplier that would run the chip under their photospectrometer and give me a printout so I can have some mixed here? I'll happily buy you lunch, a tank of gas and some $ for the museum if it can be done.

Most interesting. Great to see it and thank You for sharing. Would there be similar document for dull paint?

I had some paint made up to the standard that we have been selling. I can check and see if we have any left. How much do you need?

Taigh: I just need a small amount to experiment with for now. If you have the color formulation and the base paint information, it would be a lot easier than trying to ship already mixed paint. It's going to take a little experimentation, as this color goes on both wood and metal. I will eventually need several gallons, but that is spread out over a number of years of building.
