Any idea which A-26 the CAF is sending? I believe they have two airworthy... Night Mission and Lady Liberty.

Sounds like "Night Mission" had some maintenance issues in Corsicana last weekend...hopefully nothing too serious.

Night Mission had a minor issue in Corsicana, but has already returned to the Dallas area and is on display at Redbird with FIFI this weekend.

Hear! Hear!

Have the Michiganders (World Heritage Air Museum) indicated what early jets they'll bring for the pilgrimage?

I'm a piston fan first, but I must admit an eagerness to see their "new" Meteor displayed in person...if not in 2017 then asap. :supz:

The ever-popular "Warbirds in Review" schedule posted:

That "Warbirds in Review" schedule lists the EAA museum has a flying F-89?? And the speaker is going to be Dick Rutan??

I see nothing on that schedule suggesting the EAA's F-89 is flyable.

And Dick Rutan has attended many an Oshkosh.

I'm confused over your confusion.

Lon may just be unaware what the "Warbirds in Review" thing is. After all, it does sound like a flying display, maybe with narration. Lon, it is actually just someone sitting in or near a plane being interviewed.

John O'Connor's Blue Angle Bearcat and a current Blue Angel as a speaker scheduled apparently? Would love to see that heritage flight but I know logistically it is not really possible.
