A bit more in-depth information about the Warbirds in Review here:

http://www.warbirdsnews.com/airshow-new ... edule.html

Interesting to note the last sentence on the P-63/T-38 paragraph where they mention the Dixie Wing are working to include other P-39's/P-63's. I wonder if we may get both P-39's (CAF/Lewis) parked together? :D

And just like that, the CAF P-63F Sponsor Group now has Oshkosh on their events list.

Excellent news! The recent issue of Flightpath magazine has a great article on the two breeds of 'cobra and it's reignited my interest in the P-39. Although I won't be at Oshkosh I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's photos.

I can only make it one day this year, so I'm trying to plan it to get the most bang for the buck. I was hoping to see the B-29s and the A-20 fly, the 29s are listed separately, but it seems Warbirds of America is the description for everything else. Does anyone have any idea when the Havoc might fly?

I was in Oshkosh yesterday and had enough time to swing by the Museum to check out the A-20. It happened to be outside!

Im not sure yet, but I might try to make Oshkosh this year for the first time since 2011. I have a couple of quick questions. If I go I can only spend 2 days there. I would like to catch the major warbird show having said that what day might that occur? Also might DOC and FIFI fly in that show as well, or are those aircraft possibly scheduled to fly another day?
Last question what options are out there as far as a place to stay at this time, and does Oshkosh have a hotline for accomodations? Thanks in advance.

FIFI & Doc flight schedules, as well as lodging hotline, are all here, Ed:

Lewis Air Legends has listed attending aircraft as A-20 and B-25.

So nice to see the A-20 at Oshkosh and in the sun. Very jealous of all of you lucky enough to be there!

If I were going to plan on two days I would do Friday and Saturday. If you are into current jet bombers, don't miss Saturday.

On the question about a lodging hotline, there isn't really one. I think camping is the best and cheapest way personally. Most hotels don't have rooms until last minute, so I would jump on a waiting list if that is what you want to do. I would also look into the UW Oshkosh dorm rooms as a cheaper option. Check out https://stayeaa.com/ for that info.

I would avoid the weekend if you want to see Warbirds as the trend seems to be a lot leave after judging is complete.

Tuesday-Thursday would be the best days to catch the Warbirds.

A newly-built replica of a Morane-Saulnier type L (one of the earliest WW I fighters) will be at the DAHER-SOCATA booth: https://www.facebook.com/MS.TypeL/
The aircraft has only just been finished, and hasn't flown yet.
