Another very pleasant afternoons display at wonderful Old Warden
The Avro Tutor was rolled onto the flightline to show off its new scheme, and wonderful it is too.

The rest in no particular order,. Praise must go to the pilots for putting up with some tricky wind conditions. The mock air race got spirited at times too. The Chilton goes like stink!!

On with the piccies

Thanks chaps

Yep an unmanned micro dirigible it is!! The have a Barnstorming act involving flor bombing, limbo and balloon bursting. Thats the closest I have got to the moment of contact.

Photo 5 is the Blackburn B2, its the only one flying and was Blackburns attempt at an ab initio trainer but with side by side seating. Also known as a Tiger Moth for friends. It is the only one flying and pretty much the only one still in existance (there is a fuselage in a scrap yard somewhere).
