Hi all. I am looking for a manual or book that lists or shows all the parts to a B-17 bomber. I already have the pilot's manual for reference, but I was hoping that there was an in-depth parts manual that was still available. Most importantly, I just need pictures and dimensions of various parts to the B-17 and I figured there would be some sort of manual still available. Anyone have any advice?

try "trade a plane magazine", weekly publication covering aviation from a to z since the 1930's. a couple of advertisers specialize in old aircraft manuals in the mag. it is also a great read anytime!! another worthy try is barnstormers.com web site. again, anything from a to z can be found, but on the web. good luck!! tom

Ah yes...you're searching for the AN01-20EG-4, the illustrated parts breakdown for the B-17G...about 400 pages or so.

Give Don Keller out in Oregon a try. 1-503-646-4176

Go Ebay. Copies of B-17 E&M and parts are readily available; either DVD or paper format.
