Heard that another warbird was sold this week... I was told Bob Baranaskas (P-51 "Glamourous Gal") purchased the P-40 listed with Courtesy. Does anyone have a confirm on this? If so, two major warbirds (P-40 and PBY) will be calling Long Island home very soon.

Hmmmm, I'm seeing visions of a P-40 formation flight over LI now. His and Jeff Clyman's. The last time was probably when P-40's were based at Mitchel Field?

BTW, the Jones Beach Airshow has been confirmed for 2006, again on Memorial Day weekend.

I know Bob's son Chris was getting checked out in the P-51 over the summer, so i guess maybe Bob's getting a 'new' toy and letting Chris take the mustang, or vice versa. He also has the polished T-6 too. He's got a nice little collection going there! And he's a great guy to boot.
