Saw a Catalina headed West out of San Antonio this afternoon. Apparently the one sunk in the filming of the U.S.S. Indianapolis movie. Headed where?

Last update I had heard was that it was headed to the USS Alabama museum for static display, sounds like it was headed the wrong way.

Yep. That was probably ours. It's supposed to be here by the end of the week.

Believe it is the one from the movie. The over sized blisters are a give away. Looks like it will make a nice display in Pima.

Jamesintucson....I was unloading a bunch of tires at the resto hangar a few weeks ago, and noticed that Pima is getting quite the collection on Cat parts....where else would a crunched cat go? How is my Lodestar doing?

The Lodestar is all done. I think it looks pretty good.

It was blue so I guess I was wrong and it is Lone Stars'. Just the fuselage, didn't see any wings.

Definitely LSFM's. Left GLS a little before 10AM. Wings had been removed and left earlier.

Quoted for truth. Man, it looks great! So cool to see a ship in the colors of an ally. Not many of those around!
