Hi everyone - I picked up this relic recently at an auction in England. There were parts from a Hudson and B-17 in the box. This part was unlabelled. It is stamped 'Vega'. I know Vega made Hudsons and B-17 in WW2 - so I think it is from one of these aircraft. The numbers on it are: 53052-99 (last digit is hard to read) and 12241.

AFAIK the part number prefix for the Hudson is 16, but at least one US website states that some lockheed aircraft had a 53 prefix. So, does anyone recognise it please?

Thanks in advance
Elliott
