This was the first MiG-15 that the allies got their hands on in Korea. It was recovered by HMS Cardigan Bay and U.S.S. Whetstone after being shot down by a B-29 and then sent to Dayton for study. Does anyone have any photos of the recovery of this MiG in their archives or a copy of the report prepared by the Cornell Aeronautical Lab?

Thank you,

Jim
